He is survived by: his children, Melinda Olivares (Clyde Cantu) of San Antonio, Seranda Olivares (Jesse Flores) of San Antonio, Lisa Marie Reyes of San Antonio, Chris (Sabas Rodriquez), Candi (Rocky Nunez), Crystal (Oscar Cruz), Larry Olivarez of Plainview, Richard Garza of Wichita, Kansas, Orlando Garza of Wichita, Kansas and Angelica Bocanegra of Wichita, Kansas; and his siblings, Mary Luna (Lillie) of Dodge City, Santiago (Mary Lou Luna) of Amarillo, Linda (Robert Cantu) of Amarillo, Joe Olivares (Cobra) of Amarillo, Sindy Olivares of Dodge City, Sylvia Bustos of Dodge City, Victoria Olivares of Wichita, Debbie Olivares of Great Bend and Rebeca (Guadalupe Chavez). He is also survived by thirty three grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, twenty eight nieces and nephews and many more great nieces and nephews.
