He is survived by: his children, Librado Samarripa, Jr. (Virginia) of Plainview, Pete Samarripa (Olga) of Plainview, Pablo Samarripa (Margaret) of Olton, Manuel Samarripa of Hereford, Texas, Luisa Salazar of Topeka, Rosa Perez of Hereford, Victoria Samarripa of Plainview, Reveca Amaya (Roy) of Lubbock and Linda James (Garrett) of Bastrop, Texas; and his siblings, Jessie Samarripa of Benavides, Texas and Natalia Rodriguez of Austin. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren, and sixteen great-great grandchildren.
