It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mertice Lester Stark (Plainview, Texas), who passed away on April 1, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John William (JW) and Lola Mae Lester, Jr. of Lockney; her husband Malcolm Lytton Stark; her grandson Christopher Hoobler; her sister Aleta Stephens (Thomas) of Idaho Springs, CO; and her children, Robert Kirk Cobb (Belinda Cobb) of Fort Worth, TX, Karen Belk (David Belk) of Cedar Hill, TX and Karla Nelson (Robert Nelson) of Keene, CA.. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
