He was predeceased by: his siblings, Saul Zapata and Leticia Peña. He is survived by: his parents, Saturnino Zapata, Sr. and Celia Zapata (Garza) of Plainview; and his siblings, Sammy (Dee Zapata) and Norma Zapata of Plainview. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
