She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond S. Yannis and Mary Ann Orta Yannis; her husband Juan P. Esquivel; her brothers, Raymond Yannis and Brady "Freddie" Yannis; and her daughter Olivia Esquivel.
She is survived by: her children, Dora Garcia (Ricardo) of Plainview, Johnny Esquivel of Amarillo, Rudy Esquivel (Marivel) of Floydada, Oscar Esquivel (Sandy) of Plainview, Lynn Esquivel of Plainview, Leo Esquivel of Plainview and Jordan Esquivel of Plainview; and her siblings, Frank Yannis of Rockdale, Erminio Yannis of Lubbock, Victor Yannis (Josie) of Meadow, Betty Rosa (George) of Floydada and Mary Helen De Ochoa (Luis) of Floydada. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
