“After I graduated college, I left my hometown for the first time and moved to TX to join TXCC. Patrick was my crew leader. He was also the reason I showed up every day. He taught me how to start a chainsaw. He let the crew go to Mcdonald's even though AmeriCorps didn't allow it. We would scream-sing country songs in the van together and rant about capitalism. He had the BIGGEST heart: believed in everyone, loved everyone. I only knew him for 6 months but he felt like family. He will be missed.”
