We are sad to announce that, on April 15, 2023, at the age of 79, Richard J. Gaitan (Plainview, Texas), born in San Angelo, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wenceslao Gaitan and Uvaldina Gaitan; his nephew Gilbert Rodriguez; and his son-in-law Larry Ruiz. He is survived by: his wife Lydia Gaitan; his children, Sandra Vera (Peter), Laura Castillo (Benito), Michelle Gaitan, Nancy Kernell (Kenny), Brenda Nelson (Mark) and Richard Ray Gaitan (Irene); his siblings, Englandtina Rodriguez, Mary Andrade (Joe), Yolanda Ybarra, Uvaldina Chavez (Robert) and Noe Gaitan (Lupe); and his caregiver Carmen Castillo. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
