He is survived by: his wife Manuela Diaz; and his children, Tina Rodriguez (Eddie) of Plainview, Arthur Diaz, Veronica Sanchez of Plainview, Lisa Hood (Mark) of Fort Smith, AR, Ruben Diaz, Jr. (Stephanie) of Plainview, Rachel Diaz of Lubbock, Daniel Diaz of Pampa, David Diaz of Plainview, Rebecca Diaz of Plainview, Carlos Diaz of Odessa, Oralia Diaz of Odessa, Delia Ornelas (Joe) of Odessa and Nora Tapia (Angel) of Odessa. He is also survived by thirty-seven grandchildren, fifty-four great grandchildren, and seventeen great-great grandchildren.
