He is survived by: his mother Glenda Gray; his son Adam Nelson; his siblings, Barbara Raney (Jerry Raney), Beverly Bennett (Will Bennett), Robert Gray (Stacy Gray) and Paul Gray (Becky Gray); and his sister-in-law Kathy Crockett (Kevin Crockett).
