He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Stewardson and Willie B. Scarborough Stewardson; his wife Mae; and his siblings, Virgil Stewardson and Velma Benton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Beverly Hightower (Jack) of Homer and Becky York (Perry) of Amarillo, Texas; his granddaughters, Ashley York of Amarillo and Katie York of Amarillo; and his great grandchildren, Hagen and Adeline Hutto of Amarillo.
