He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Columbus and Lama Tribble Sanders; his siblings, LaVerne Domanski, Wilma Craft, Alice Launius, Joyce Thomas and Preston Sanders; and his son Joey Tyrrell.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his daughters, Lisa Strunk (Tracy) and Shayna Marshall (Jason); his grandchildren, Jessica Jamieson (Matt), Rachel Stahl (Evan), Sara Marshall, Kyle Tyrrell and Brent; and his great grandchildren, Elliott and Oliver Jamieson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allen Family Funeral (2112 W Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75023). The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
