She is survived by: her mother Edda Powell; her sister Cathy Sears (Jim); her niece Keli Hurst (Kyle); and her nephew David Sears (Sarah). She is also survived by four great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Moberly.
