She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie Mize and Thomas Mize; her husband Ewell M. Simpson; and her siblings, Lillian Thornton, Noretta Shelton and Charles Mize.
She is survived by: her sons, Bill Simpson (Helen) and Richard Simpson (Barbara); her grandchildren, Scott Simpson (Debbie), Stacy Simpson, Taylor Simpson (Katie) and Jordan Simpson (Katie); and her great grandchildren, Madeline, Catherine, Sophia, Eva, Jack, Sam, Andrew and Anna. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
