She was predeceased by: her parents, Gregorio Guajardo and Librada Guajardo; her siblings, Margarita Villarreal, Manuel Guaujardo, Isabel Montemayor, Santiago Guajardo, Angelita Vela, Gregorio, Jr. and Antonio Barrientos; her husband William V. Smith; and her children, Stephen Guajardo and Thomas Smith (Cindy).
She is survived by: her sister Sofia Gomez; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Smith; her grandchildren, Thomas, Mary Smith, Charity, Donovan, Steven, Rita and Derrick; her great grandchildren, Thomas, Kyle, Trinity, Maddie, Damon, Gavin, Amelia, Emily and Caspian; her son Richard G. Smith; her grandchildren, Melissa, Billy Maples and Richard Smith; her great grandchildren, Tiffanie, Vince, Shelby, Randell, Sarah, Antonio, Richard and Jacob; her great great grandchildren, Maddy, Grayson, Joenhis, Shyloeh and Blakleigh of Loeghan, TJ; her daughter Brenda (Thomas Pena); her grandchildren, Christina, Daisy, Tracy and Gion; and her great grandchildren, Mya, Jay, Emma and Elijah.
Oftentimes, she could be seen volunteering to pick up food from local grocery stores which had been donated to the Senior Center. She would then further this labor of love by delivering the donated food to the seniors in the area neighborhoods which most needed her service.
