He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrie Miller Gilbert and John Gilbert. He is survived by: his spouse Tony "Toosie" Gilbert; his son Tyrone Gilbert; his grandchildren, Shaunna Rogers, Joshua Dubois, Joycelyn Dubois and Karl Bazile; and his great grandchildren, Barnell, Zaire and Janyrah Unique Bazile. He is also survived by wife in heaven and to see his family.
