He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Wilson; and his siblings, John Tom, Richard, Ronald, Betty Jean Maxwell and Barbara Courson.

He is survived by: his son Skipper Wilson; his granddaughter Eliska Sutton (Randy); his great grandchildren, Lily and Kylie Sutton; and his sisters, Carolyn Hersh (Alfred) and Phillisha Jacobs.
