He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse E. Morris, Sr. and Johnie Lee Oehlke Morris; his son Jesse E. Morris III (Laurel Sage Harrington); his sister Helen Morris Miller (Wallace Miller); and his father-in-law Leland H. Robinson, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Robinson Morris; his children, Susan Morris Mellow (Brent Mellow) and John Morris (Jill Stewart Morris); his grandchildren, Hannah Mellow, Caroline Mellow, Laurel Hunter Morris, Harry Mellow and Ava Morris; and his siblings, Jimmie (Alice Vacula Morris) and Patricia Morris McGee (Frank McGee III).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Dallas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
