She is survived by: her husband Julio Vega; her children, Carmen Maloney (Frank), Julio, Patricia Smith (David) and Lydia Lacoste (Tom); and her brother Antonio Gomez. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
