She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Vandiver and Arlene Vandiver; her husband Robert Hamrick; her siblings, Donna Knapp (Bobby) and Ralph Cecil Vandiver Jr. (Marilyn); her daughter-in-law Linda Hamrick; her siblings' children, Claire Higgins and Kirk Vandiver; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Higgins.
She is survived by: her children, David Hamrick of Wylie, Betty Petty (Richard) and Vickie Hamrick of Wylie; her grandsons, Michael Petty (Shawna) of San Antonio, Eric Petty (Ashley) of Fort Lewis, David Petty of Royse City and Kiel Petty of Addison, Texas.; her great grandchildren, Bailey Brooks, Amber Petty, Carter Petty, Landen Petty, Adyson Petty, Eli Petty and Maddox Petty; and her brother-in-law Jimmy Higgins of Carlsbad. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
