He was predeceased by: his father Albert F.; his grandmother Jewel DeLashaw; his brother Albert DeLashaw Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Bonnie DeLashaw, Buddy Dennis and Preston Sistrunk; and his parents-in-law, Nick Dennis and Faye Dennis.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Rae Dennis; his daughter Gail DeLashaw of Durant; his brother Larry DeLashaw of Utica, OK; his sister-in-law Pat Sistrunk of Kilgore, TX; his nieces, Donna (Steve Dow) of Utica, Diana DeLashaw of Dallas, TX, Brenda Barnes (Connie) of Longview, TX and Taylor (Mark Renninger); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mason and Marleigh; his niece Dani Dennis (Monti); his nephew Bill Barnes of Kilgore, TX; his great-nephew Justin Dow (Jenny); his great-niece Reyna Barnes of Austin, TX.; Angel, Logan, Maddison, McKinley, Wyatt and Watson.
