With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy W. Dilks of Plano, Texas, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on July 21, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry M. Woodard, Sr. and Mary P. Woodard; her husband Michael J. Dilks; her children, Stephen A. Douglas and Jaimee L. Douglas; and her former husband Ben N. Douglas, Sr..
She is survived by: her sons, Ben Neal Douglas, Jr. of Anniston and Jason A. Dilks of Sterling, Virginia; and her sisters, Alice Kirkpatrick, Diane Woodard (Bruce Wardrep) of Atlanta, Georgia and Johanna Chandler (Stephen Chandler) of Henderson. She is also survived by three grandchildren and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA of Texas or to favorite organizations supporting U.S. service members and veterans.
