She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert A. Fitzke and Anna E. Fitzke (Harms); her husband Harvey L. Penning; her siblings, Alene Valentine and Ward Fitzke; and her siblings-in-law, Herman Valentine, Ervin Penning, Raymond Penning, Sue Penning and Lucille Fitzke.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janie Penning (Larry Bolles) of Grand Island and Connie Eldred (David) of Plano, TX.; her grandchildren, Lee Schuppan (Julie) of Doniphan, Amber Schuppan (Al Avery) of Doniphan, Alicia McCarther (Sean) of Ewing, NJ and Ashlee Moore of Plano, TX.; her stepgrandchild Chris Eldred (Nicole) of Omaha; her great grandchildren, Braden, Caleb Schuppan, Dylan Hassett, Ian, Lily McCarther and Jack Moore; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Keely, Allison Eldred and Zach Schmitt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family to be designated at a later date.
