Patrick B. Collins Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick B. Collins in Plano, Texas, who passed away on March 14, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Collins and Germaine Collins; his siblings, Elmo "Buddy" Collins, Jr. and Marietta Davis; his wife Jo; and his children, Martha Collins Sampeck and Robert Collins.

He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret Turner of San Antonio and Tom Collins; his sister-in-law Lois of Houston; his sister Carol James of San Antonio; his daughter Julia Shanklin (Collins); his son-in-law Brad Shanklin of Plano; his son Vance Collins; his daughter-in-law Ruth; and his grandchildren, Rachel Sampeck of Plano, Natalie Knight (Zach Knight) of Richardson, Connor Shanklin, Michael Sampeck (Suzi) and Josh Collins of Houston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
