It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rex Barton of Plano, Texas, born in Lamesa, Texas, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mancil Barton and Ethel Barton. He is survived by: his wife Anita Stovall; his children, Rick Barton (Larae) and Pam Garrison (Jeff); his grandchildren, Hunter Garrison, Luke Barton (Paige), Griffin Garrison, Madeline Garrison, Jared Barton and Olivia Garrison; his great grandchild Levi Barton; and his sisters, Jo Mitchell of Lamesa and Faye Thurman of Houston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
