He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Deichmann, and Bertha Deichmann, Sr. (Maestri); his grandparents, William B. of New Orleans, Johanna Deichmann (Kirchmeyer) of New Orleans, Paul A. of New Orleans and Adela Maestri, Sr. (Meda) of New Orleans; his siblings, Arthur, Jr. (late Ann), Dorothy Prohaska and Daniel (Linda); Marlene (Harmon).
He is survived by: his children, Richard, Jr. (Cecile), Douglas, Paul (Laura) and Laura Albert (Thomas); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Claire Valentine (Wesley), Paige Patrick (Clayton), Alexandra, Caroline, Lauren Sand (William) and Katherine Schraegle (Colby); his great grandchildren, Laurel Schraegle, Gracelynn Schraegle, Augustus Schraegle, Gabriella Sand, William Sand, Charlotte Sand, Richard Patrick and James Wesley; and his sister Rita Case (Walter). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
