Eric Narvaez wrote a sympathy message

“For several years Bob would host a few of us at his home in Surprise, Arizona, when we qualified for national tennis tournaments there. I was one of the fortunate few that got to stay at his place. Bob was always a gracious host, and as a person had an outgoing personality and a positive attitude, which made him very likable. Bob also loved playing cards, teaching us new games, with us all enjoying the talking and joking and being together. Glad I was able to be a small part of his life.”
