He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Andrew Pfertner and Anne Pfertner; his stepdaughters, Wendy McBride (Timothy) and Debra Hanson; and his pet Itty Bitty. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren.
