With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann Barta of Pleasanton, Texas, born in Seguin, Texas, who passed away on December 14, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton W. Schrank and Mary Schrank (Mollenkopf); her husband Evan Barta; her siblings, Wilburn Schrank and Judy Jarzombek (Schrank); and her brothers-in-law, Henry Barta, John Jarzombek, Eugene Bohanan and Guy Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Barta and Jeff Barta (Staci); her grandchildren, Walter Mazur, Phillip Barta (Caroline Vance), Veronica Barta, Stephen Mazur, Travis Barta (Virginia), Dalyn Smith (Alex) and Tyler Jones (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Charlotte Barta, Finnick Barta and Mason Smith; her sisters, Ethelene Barta, Shirley Bohanan and Nancy Russell; and her cousin Jan Person (Dennis). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
