He was predeceased by: his father Pablo H. Lara; his wife Catherine Lara (Kitty); his parent Jesusita Sanchez-Lara; and his sister Alma Lara. He is survived by: his brother Mark Lara; his children, Darlene Uribe (Oscar), Jackie Saldana, Brenda Lara, Diana Lara, Pablo Garcia, Chad McDougal (Judy) and Shane McDougal (Lacey); and his grandchildren, Sergio Almaraz (Jessica), Sandra Gallegos (James), Cindy Herrera (Jesse Jr.), Brenda Pedroza (Israel) and Barbara Woodall (Michael). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
