We announce the death of Thomas J. Guedea Jr. (Pleasanton, Texas), who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 84. Thomas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomas Ramirez Guedea and Manuela Gomez Jimenez; his siblings, Michael, Charlie and Yolanda; and his great-nephew Gavin.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Guedea; his children, Curt Prinz (Robyn), Diana Parisey (Craig) and Cynthia Guedea; his stepchildren, Rebekkaa Lane (Josh) and Jack Williams; his grandchildren, Justin, Dakota Prinz, Chase Green, Joshua Lane, Elisabeth Davis (Justin), Seth Duncan (Halle), Shelton Grunden, Skylor Williams and Amelia Williams; his great grandchild Jody Davis; his siblings, Dora Guedea, Mary Gerlach, Norma Ennis, RosaLinda Pineda (David), Irma Garza (Fernando), Danny Guedea (Jennifer) and Sandra Taylor (Danny); and his pets, Augustus McCrae, Pancho and Mia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home & Crematory (118 W Oaklawn Rd, Pleasanton, TX 78064).
