With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Edward Gassiott of Point, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2026 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Powell Ralph Gassiott Jr. and Sue Gassiott; his sister-in-law Joanna Gassiott; his niece Lisa Gassiott; and his great-nephew Gavin Gassiott.

He is survived by: his brothers, Ralph Gassiott, Glen Gassiott (Joyce) and Tim Gassiott (Mary); and his nieces and nephews, Kyle Gassiott, Karri Gassiott Sanders (Joe), Kristen Gassiott Wagner (Greg), Grant Gassiott (Angela), Gregg Gassiott (Keisha), James Gassiott and Joel Gassiott. He is also survived by 16 great nieces and nephews, numerous close cousins, and the friends.
