It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Era Stubblefield of Pollok, Texas, born in Flat, Texas, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Unia Whaley (Beasley) and Ernest Lee Whaley; and her husband James "Slim" Stubblefield. She is survived by : her children, Kenneth Stubblefield (Tammy), Kathy Spencer (Keith), Rickey Stubblefield (Leslie) and Danny Stubblefield (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Megan Hart, Jennifer Leah Stubblefield, Chase Aldredge, Michael Spencer, Jay Spencer, Josh Stubblefield, Jacob Stubblefield, Waylon Stubblefield, Ryan Walton and Cory Walton; and her brother Bob Whaley. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews.
