It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steve Edwards of Pollok, Texas, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Bell (Neal) and Archie G. Edwards; his wife Jo Edwards; his daughter Patsy Gabbert; his siblings, Jeanette Whisenant and David Edwards; and his great grandchildren, Ben Williams and Joshua "Cricket" Williams.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shirley (Damien Young), Sandra (Michael Havard) and Wanda Reagan; his grandchildren, Dortha Smith, Jeremy, Amber Parrott of Cody Young, J. T., Brittiany Williams, Sam, Amber Williams, Adam Williams, Brittney, Shaun Miller, Shannon Drysdale, Robin Graham, John Pavlic and Judd Pavlic; and his brother Olen Edwards. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carroway Funeral Home (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
