Chester Lapoint Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Chester Lapoint (Port Arthur, Texas). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith LaPoint (Jolene LaPoint) and Pierre LaPoint; and his brother Irvin LaPoint. He is survived by: his wife Jolene Ross LaPoint; his daughters, Leslie Nobles, Lisa Ciecwierz (Roman) and Leah Nelson (Chris); his grandchildren, Devin LaPoint, Victoria Nobles (Jared), Adrian Nelson, Jessica Ciecwierz, Carleigh Nobles, Leann Nelson, Jake Nobles, Laci Snider and Lance Snider; his great grandchildren, Jenevieve Nobles, Cooper Cain and Theo Flick; his brothers, Eugene LaPoint and Emery LaPoint; and his sisters-in-law, Renate LaPoint and Joyce LaPoint. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home (4841 39th St, Port Arthur, TX 77642). A rosary was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations to St. Dominic Village's Compassionate Care Fund in honor of Chester LaPoint.
