He was predeceased by: his parents, John DeVries, II and Lynne DeVries; and his niece Amanda Banks. He is survived by: his siblings, Cheri Banks (Lenny) of Channelview, Cindy Nichols (Terry) of Port Neches, Colleen Berry (Tim) of Highlands and Scott DeVries (Stacie) of Nederland; his nieces and nephews, Michelle Valdivieso (Franco), Rebecca Nichols, Jennifer Nichols, Ashlyn Berry, Kaelyn Berry, Michael Banks, Chris Nichols, Conner DeVries and Garrett DeVries; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor, Allison, Brooklyn, Faith, Brandon, Landon, Braydon, Linden, Bradley, Matteo and Jackson.
