It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kerney Don Shields of Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Shields, Sr. and Helen Gabriel-Shields; and his siblings, Albert Shields, Robert Shields, Jasper Shields Jr., Kenneth Shields, Sr., Laura Mae Harris and Barbara Jean Shields.
He is survived by: his daughter DeQuanna Malveaux of Port Arthur, TX; his granddaughter Micah Zoey Malveaux; his siblings, Paul Shields, Fareed Abdul-Salaam of Houston, TX, Roderick Shields of Beaumont, TX, Audrey Veazy of Houston, TX, Lois Shields and Pearl Shields of Port Arthur, TX; and his siblings' children, Keice Landry of Port Arthur, TX, Jermaine Shields of Houston, TX and Nathaniel Lovilotte of Port Arthur, TX. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
