Roy Don Chapman Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy Don Chapman (Port Arthur, Texas), born in Clifton, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2026 at the age of 81. Though Roy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Roy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Roy Chapman and Mary Marsalette Chapman; and his sister Priscilla Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Jane Chapman of Port Arthur; his children, Christopher Chapman (Jennifer) of Nederland and Kathryn Chapman (Sonia) of Kingwood; and his grandson Connor Chapman of Nederland.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Port Arthur City Church, formally known as Memorial Baptist Church.
