He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carlos Gonzalez and Angelina Z. Gonzalez; his children, Rosa Hilton (Anthony), Shelby Ray Silgero, Faith Angelina Gonzalez and Gerardo Gonzalez, Jr.; his grandchildren, Malakai Hamilton and Kaylani Gonzalez; and his siblings, Carlos Gonzalez, Jr., Jaime Gonzalez, Gabriel Gonzalez, Carlos Rene Gonzalez, Jaime Gonzalez, Jr., Blanca Estella and Nancy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thomae Garza Funeral Home (395 S Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586). A rosary was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church (705 S Longoria St, Port Isabel, TX 78578). A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Port Isabel City Cemetery (299 N Musina St, Port Isabel, TX 78578).
