He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester Carlton Lawson, Jr. (Mabel Lawson) and Mabel Eva Lawson; his wife Sandra Lawson; his children, Tracy Dunn and Gina SeilerHis; his son-in-law Scott SeilerHis; his grandchildren, Avary Mendez (Josh), Corbin Dunn, Sean Seiler (Alejandra) and Seth DunnHe; and his brother Rip Lawson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home & Crematory (118 W Oaklawn Rd, Pleasanton, TX 78064). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the Rutledge Cemetery (1735 Rutledge Rd, Poteet, TX 78065). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
