He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmore Lee Koether and Irene Koether (Weller); and his brother Ervin "Butch" Koether. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Kroll Koether; his children, Bradley Koether (Stacy) and Stacey Cooke (Colby); his grandchildren, Julie Cooke, Caden Koether, Cambry Koether, Case Cooke and Blaise Cooke; his sister Carolyn Moczygemba (Alvin); and his sister-in-law Shirley Koether.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (488 W Westmeyer St, Poth, TX 78114). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
