She was predeceased by : her parents, Vernon Taber and Bertha Taber (Anderson); her daughter Kristy Hammons; and her siblings, Eddie Taber and Connie Filkins.

She is survived by : her children, Kera Stogsdill (David) of Pottsboro, Texas and Anthony Hammons (Kristina) of Iowa. She is also survived by Twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
