He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville Covington and Merle Covington (Ball); and his siblings, Shari Walters, Mickey Dickfoss and Charles Covington.
He is survived by: his wife Karan Lee Covington; his daughters, Kimberly (Dan Slater) and Amy Covington (Kristine Olsta); his grandchildren, Timothy, Mandy Rivera and Sarah Irvin; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Nathaniel and Kelsey; and his sister Sue Gudgel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and numerous 4-legged companions.
