He was predeceased by : his father Delbert Hughes; his grandparents, Howard, Opal Shires, Lonnie and Lena Hughes; his brother-in-law Jim Christman; and his pet Peewee.
He is survived by : his mother Norma Jean Hughes; his sisters, Brenda Christman (late Jim Christman), Donna White (Jim) and Lou Ann Walson (Randy); his brother-in-law Roy Garrett; his uncle Bob Shires; his nieces, Amy Householder (Jeff), Sunny Mackey (Nick), Jessica McKinney (Josh) and Emily Perkins; and his nephew Aaron Walson (Lacy). He is also survived by great-nephews, six (6) great-nieces and one (1) great-great nephew and numerous cousins.
