He was predeceased by : his parents, Evelyn Travis Moon and Dempsey Moon; his parents-in-law, Jesse and Tommie Leever; his brother Michael Moon; and his sister-in-law Jerry (Jean Dolf).

He is survived by : his wife Judy Leever Moon; and his daughters, Teresa Moon Niblett (Brian) and Ronda Moon Swaim (Stephen). He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
