With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay Lynn Meek of Powderly, Texas, born in Enid, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 15, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jess Meek and Beatrice Gὃrts Meek. He is survived by : his wife Daphana Lawler; his daughters, Saundra Ashton (Bret) and Shanna McEwin (Chris); his grandchildren, Cameron Ashton (Kristen), Dylan McEwin, Tyler Ashton (Kassidy), Blayne Willison, Alexis Willison, Rhet Ashton, Elijah McEwin and Paisley McEwin; his great grandchildren, Copper Ashton, Jaxon Ashton, Kinslee Ashton, Hadley Willison, Hayden King, Harper King and Hadli King; his siblings, Jess Lee "Buddy" Meek, Jr. (Debbie) and Terry Joe Meek; and his siblings-in-law, Robbie and Leroy Caplinger.
