Alma Ruby Turner Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Ruby Turner in Prairie Lea, Texas, born in Chriesman, Texas, who passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Burnic L. Turner; and her parents, James Thomas and Mary Ann Perry. She is survived by: her children, Tommy (Brenda) of Cedar Park, Diane (Bill Whitley) of Round Rock and Terry Turner of Martindale; and her brothers, Gerald Perry of The Woodlands and Daniel Perry of Caldwell. She is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.
Even post covid, if you asked her to go somewhere, the answer was, "what time will you pick me up?".
In lieu of flowers, and being a cancer survivor for over twenty years, donations in Alma's name to a cancer research center of your choice or St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
