It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gretchen Hovda of Progreso, Texas, who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Theimer and Hannah Brauer Theimer; her husband Buddy; and her son David Hovda (Lola Jean) of San Antonio. She is survived by: her children, Allen Hovda (Debby) of Corpus Christi, Gretchen Hovda of Weslaco, Hans (Connie Hovda) of Weslaco and Hannah Cluiss (Craig) of Conroe, Texas..
