She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Hines, and Lucreasy Hines, Sr.; and her siblings, Zennie Mae Crawford, Magnolia Reese, Margie Whitney, Florine Williams, Amos Hines, Jr., Elton Hines and Elder James Hines.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Samuel Brown; her children, Timothy Brown (Cassandra) of Garland, Samuel Brown (Eren) of Gunter, Tangella Brown of McKinney, Angella Brown of McKinney and Camalon Moore (Demond) of Germantown, Tennessee.; her grandchildren, Oliver Mitchell, Gregory Brown, Marcell Brown, Dominique Brown, Amber Brown, Mercedes Brown (Jeff), Itzy Muthu-Pandi (Jega), Prentice Collins, Joshua Brown (Keely), Olevia Brown, Kayla Collins, Kyle Collins, Karla Hernandez, Zachary Moore and Zoe Moore; her great grandchildren, Ian Wilkes, Eli Thomas, JaMarria Thomas, Samiyah Brown, Grace Brown, Johnny Thomas, Dakota Thomas, Faith Brown, Elianna Collins, Emiliano Collins, Giovanni Collins, Maya Muthu-Pandi, Caden Rowley and Harmonie Brown; and her siblings, Corine Broadnax, Flossie Hines, Cleoria Snead (Tommy), Carnell Hines (Carolyn), Enrico Edgar Hines and Harold Hines. She is also survived by five children, sixteen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
