He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Copenhaver and Ruve Copenhaver of Grand Saline; and his brother Lamar Copenhaver. He is survived by: his daughters, Tracy Hardin (Tim Hardin) of Decatur and Natha Lee Copenhaver of Bridgeport, Texas; his grandchildren, John Robert Keith Daugherty, Ruve Lu'Jean Cooley and Shawn Wood; his great grandchildren, James William Houston Cooley, Colton Wood and Maverick Wood; and his pet Rowdy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
