He is survived by: his father Morris Degan; his children, Bailey Johnson (Jerrod) of Crowell, Dakota Degan (Taylor) of Quanah and Chase Degan of Quanah; his sisters, Sherri Melton of Quanah and Kristi Fisher (Bradley) of Chillicothe; and his grandchildren, Lakyn, Taylen, Elayna, Tara and Oaklee.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Methodist Church (301 Ave J, Chillicothe, TX 79225).
